Terms and Conditions

Delivery or pick up of equipment implies acceptance of the terms and conditions of hire as follows. Please read.

Terms and conditions of hire

1. Any loss, damage or breakage of equipment (including packaging items) will be charged for.

2. Equipment is not insured, responsibility lies with the hire client.

3. Equipment should be checked on delivery to ensure that all ordered equipment is delivered and in good order. If any items are missing or incorrect please notify us immediately so that we can arrange replacements. Failure to notify us will result in client being charged for ordered equipment.

4. Items cancelled up to 7 days before hire date will be charged 50% of the hire charge. Items cancelled between 7 and 21 days before hire date will be charged 20% of the hire charge. Items cancelled after delivery will be charged at the full rate.

5. All equipment is to be returned clean, unless otherwise specified. Returned equipment that requires cleaning will incur an additional charge. Linen that requires expert cleaning (ie dry cleaning) will incur an additional charge. Red carpet that requires steam cleaning will incur a $77.00 charge.

6. The equipment supplied for hire always remains the property of Busselton Party Hire.

7. Once a marquee is erected, all responsibility for the marquee lies with the hire client. Any loss, damage or breakage will be charged for.

8. Erectors of marquees must be informed of location of all water, gas, reticulation pipes and telephone cables prior to installation. Whilst all care will be taken, no responsibility is taken for any damage caused to any water, gas, reticulation pipes, telephone cables or other equipment. Any repairs will be at the clients expense.

9. Utmost care will be taken when erecting a marquee, however no liability will be accepted for any damage to property or fixing that a marquee may be attached too.

10. Prices quoted are for one days hire unless otherwise specified. Quotes are valid for a period of 30 days. Prices are subject to change without notice.

11. Bookings require a non refundable deposit of 20% .

12. All hire goods attract 10% GST.

13. All orders are cash on delivery of goods unless previously arranged. A charge of 2.5 % per month will be incurred on any overdue accounts.

14. Any charges incurred by Busselton Party Hire, (the owner) or their agent, in recovering equipment and/or monies will be charged to the hire client.

15. The hirer indemnifies and keeps indemnified Busselton Party Hire from all actions, claims and demands of every description whatsoever arising either directly or indirectly from the use, maintenance, transport and/or operation of the goods

16. The owner shall not be liable to the client or client’s servants or agents for any damages, suits, claims and demands of every description whatsoever or howsoever arising either directly or indirectly from representation, warranties, terms and conditions express or implied (except part v division 2a of the terms and Trade Practices Act (1974) or relative state legislation) use, maintenance, transport, operation of the goods or otherwise and whether resulting from the negligence of the owner, it’s servants or agents or otherwise

17. Clauses 12 and 13 hereof to the extent they are inconsistent with clauses, terms and conditions of this agreement are to override such clauses and be of paramount force.

18.     a) Cool room hire is on a pick up only basis. It is the responsibility of the client to collect and return the cool room to Busselton Party Hire. b) Cool room equipmentis not insured, responsibility lies with the hire client. c) Cool rooms must stay on a sealed road. d) All cool rooms are serviced regularly and tested to maintain a cooling range of between 1 and 5 degrees, freezers -16 to -20 degrees.  e) Busselton Party Hire takes no responsibility for loss or damage of goods arising from the use, maintenance, transport and/or operation of the cool rooms. f) Cool rooms must be returned clean or a $50 cleaning charge will apply. 

19. 
The equipment must be returned by the date stated on the booking agreement, or extra charges will be incurred.

20. A surcharge of 2% applies for all credit cards for orders over $1000. We do not accept AMEX. or Diners Club.
